Ham Class July Kearney

Due to the high temperatures forecast for Saturday we are moving the maintenance window for the Mobile Command up by two hours to run from 8 am to 12 pm.  Anyone interested in helping out, or if you're just curious about the unit, you are more than welcome to come out to the Clay County Highway Department at MO Hwy 33 and 116th Street.  If you need directions or have questions you can contact Tim Cott, kc0rwd@kc.rr.com.  We will also be monitoring the 146.790 MHz repeater.

Greetings,

We will be offering ICS-700 training at our monthly meeting in July. This months meeting will be held at the North Kansas City Community Center, located at 1999 Iron Street in North Kansas City. The training will start at 7 pm and run till 9 pm. We are planning on having computers setup in the training room so you can take the EMI test for the class right after the training.

We will be using one of the meeting rooms in the Community Center, just come in through the main doors, go straight ahead and make a left at the information desk. The meeting room will be right down the corridor.

When you have completed the test and passed, please email a copy of the EMI email you receive to: ics@kcnorthares.org. This email will be auto-forwarded to the agencies we serve as part of their record of your accomplishment.
