My wife Linda and I would like again to publicly thank everyone who lent us a helping hand yesterday, Feb 1st when we were off the road on 210 Highway!...we managed to get back into Liberty and found a room for the night!...today, the roads are quite passable, gratitude to all our state and county workers who braved the snow and wind to get things cleaned up for all of us!

Yesterdays adventure was yet another example of why you should always have a Go-Kit with you, appropriate for the conditions you may have to survive!..it would have been quite possible for us to have had to endure hours of cold if conditions would not have allowed any help to head our way!..I / we did have enough supplies to last 48 hours if we had to, but it would have been far better if we had never left the house......

It was great to have the Skywarn Net up and running during this weather event, we do have the collective ability to report on any kind of weather, not just tornado's!....
